The winner of the national selection for "Eurovision-2025" is the band Ziferblat, which received 9 points from the jury and 10 from the audience. Ziferblat will represent Ukraine with the song Bird of Pray at the song contest in Basel, Switzerland. The semifinals of "Eurovision-2025" will take place on May 13 and 15, with the final set for May 17.
The highest scores from the jury were awarded to Khayat (10), Ziferblat (9), and Masha Kondratenko (8), while the audience gave their top points to Ziferblat (10), MOLODI (9), and Masha Kondratenko (8).
It is worth noting that the winner of the national selection final was determined based on the voting results from the jury (50%) and the audience (50%). The audience's online voting took place through the "Dія" app and via SMS messages. This year's jury included Jamala, the lead singer of the band "Bez Obmezhen" Serhiy Tanchynets, and the vocalist of the band Go-A Kateryna Pavlenko, who were chosen by the audience through the "Dія" app.
The national selection was broadcasted as a recorded segment for safety reasons (the recording was made a few hours before the television broadcast), while the announcement of the voting results occurred live from a shelter. The hosts of this year's national selection were Maria Efrosinina, Timur Miroshnychenko, and Vasyl Baidak.
Ziferblat was founded about 10 years ago and consists of 29-year-old twin brothers Daniil (vocalist) and Valentyn Leshchynskyi (guitarist), along with 27-year-old Fedir Khodakov (drummer). The band's first mini-album, "Kinosyans," was released in December 2017. In 2019, they released the single "Vnochi" and participated in the television competition "X-Factor" with it.
In October 2022, the band made it to the long list for the national selection of "Eurovision-2023," but did not reach the top ten. In the national selection for "Eurovision-2024," Ziferblat secured second place, receiving the maximum score (11) from the jury and 8 points from the audience. In March 2024, the band held two concerts in Kyiv at the Atlas club, which were completely sold out. Following this, the group embarked on its first tour across Ukraine, performing a total of 11 concerts. In this year's national selection, the band was one of the favorites.
