The Ukrainian youth football team has learned its opponents for the Euro 2025 group stage.
On Tuesday, December 3, the draw for the group stage of Euro-2025 U-21 took place in Bratislava. Among other teams, Ukraine also learned about its opponents.
It is worth noting that Ukraine qualified directly for the European Championship through the ranking of the best second-place teams in the qualifiers. In the group with England, Serbia, Northern Ireland, Luxembourg, and Azerbaijan, the "blue and yellows" scored 24 points, finishing just one point behind the English.
The 16 participants of the final stage were divided into 4 groups. According to the draw results, Ukraine ended up in Group D, where it will compete against the Netherlands, Denmark, and Finland.
- Group A: Slovakia, Spain, Italy, Romania
- Group B: Czech Republic, England, Germany, Slovenia
- Group C: Portugal, France, Poland, Georgia
- Group D: Finland, Netherlands, Ukraine, Denmark
It should be noted that the U-21 Euro will take place from June 11 to June 28, 2025, in Slovakia. Ukraine will play two group stage matches in the city of Prešov and one in Košice.

- 1st round, June 12: Ukraine – Denmark
- 2nd round, June 15: Finland – Ukraine
- 3rd round, June 18: Netherlands – Ukraine
If Ukraine advances from the group stage, it will face one of the two teams from Group C:
- Group C winner — Group D second-place team
- Group D winner — Group C second-place team
By the way, the reigning champion of the U-21 Euro 2023 is the England national team, which defeated Spain 1-0 in the final.
