The winners of the 2024 Gotham Awards, an independent film award in the United States, have been announced. Oksana Karpovych's documentary "Peaceful People" was nominated in the "Best Documentary Feature" category but lost to the film "There Is No Other Land," reports Variety.
Since 1991, the Gotham Awards have recognized independent cinema, effectively kicking off the awards season.
