On the night of Wednesday, December 4, Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine, utilizing strike drones and guided aerial missiles. Most of the enemy projectiles were intercepted and destroyed by Ukrainian defenders, as reported by the Air Force press service.
From 8:00 PM on December 3, the Russians launched 50 Shahed-type strike drones and unidentified drones from the Russian cities of Primorsk-Akhtarsk, Orel, and Millerovo. Additionally, the occupiers fired from the territory of the Kursk region.
“As of 9:00 AM, the air defense units, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine have shot down 29 enemy drones in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk regions,” – stated the Air Force press service.
It is noted that 18 drones were lost in specific locations, and one more entered the airspace of the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
At the time of publication, there were no reports of casualties or destruction from local administrations.
