Ukrainian servicemen will be able to submit a request for transfer to another unit using the "Army+" application. This was announced on Tuesday, November 12, by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to Volodymyr Zelensky, the Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution that will introduce a transparent mechanism for transferring military personnel between the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This pertains to transfers initiated by the servicemen themselves.
Military personnel will be able to submit a transfer request through the "Army+" application. The verification process will take up to 72 hours, and the results will also be displayed in the application. In case of denial, the reasons will be provided.
"The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine must oversee the effectiveness of the approved mechanism. The technical readiness for launch is set for November 15", stated Volodymyr Zelensky.
The President noted that this decision was developed by the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in collaboration with the public.
"This is an important example of completely constructive cooperation between the military leadership and the team of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on one side and representatives of public organizations on the other", emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky.
Additionally, it was noted that the day before, the Ministry of Defense announced the development of a digital service for simplified transfers between military units. To facilitate this, an anonymous survey was conducted among servicemen within the "Army+" application. According to Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernohrenko, the survey aimed to improve the transfer process, allowing changes in the place of service "without unnecessary bureaucracy."
Recall that on November 9, the "Reserve+" application introduced an online deferral function from mobilization. Currently, this option is in testing mode, and online deferrals are available only to individuals with disabilities and students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates pursuing education in a sequential manner.
