According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked in the areas of the settlements of Hoptivka, Hlyboke, Vysoka Yaruga, and Starytsia in the Kharkiv direction. In total, there have been five clashes, with one attack still ongoing.
At the same time, the Russians were pushed back from the village of Lyptsi, which is a strategic height that allows for artillery shelling of Kharkiv.
This was stated during a national telethon by the head of the public relations service of the 13th Brigade of Operational Purpose of the National Guard of Ukraine "Charter," Volodymyr Dehtiarov.
"We and friendly units, neighbors on the front, have managed to push the enemy even further away from Lyptsi in recent months. Therefore, we can say that this settlement is under our control. Unfortunately, it is currently uninhabitable due to constant shelling. However, Kharkiv can sleep more soundly knowing that this strategic height, from which artillery can shell the outskirts of Kharkiv, is safe — in the hands of Ukrainians," said Volodymyr Dehtiarov.
