In Sumy region, rescuers came under repeated fire while extinguishing a fire at a farm.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
As clarified by the service, on the morning of December 24, a drone attack on the territory of the Krolevec community damaged a farm building, leading to a fire.
Rescuers promptly arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames. During their operation, they heard an approaching enemy drone and managed to retreat to a safe distance.
Soon after, the “Shahed” launched a second strike near the site of the previous hit.
The State Emergency Service reported that no people were injured. However, due to the fire at the farm, animals lost their lives.
