In Kryvyi Rih, an explosion occurred on Tuesday afternoon, December 24. An air alert has been declared in the Dnipropetrovsk region and other areas of Ukraine due to the threat of ballistic attacks.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, and the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A high-speed target was detected heading towards Kryvyi Rih, according to the Air Forces.
They also warned about the potential use of ballistic weapons in regions where the air alert has been declared.
Kryvyi Rih. Missile attack. We understand where it is coming from. We are already responding. We are not removing anything or posting online, Vilkul stated.
Currently, there are 6 injured individuals in Kryvyi Rih, half of whom are in the hospital.
"A 69-year-old woman, a 72-year-old woman, and a 78-year-old man. All are in moderate condition. The rest of the injured received assistance on-site," wrote the head of the OVA, Serhiy Lysak.
