The Verkhovna Rada has recalled Yuriy Boyko from his position as a member of the Committee on Human Rights, De-occupation and Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities, and Interethnic Relations.
This was
reported by people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
A total of 258 parliamentarians voted for Boyko's exclusion.
Let us remind you that this was the second attempt to vote on the controversial deputy's removal from the parliamentary committee. Earlier, we
wrote that the repeated vote was announced by the head of the "Servant of the People" faction, David Arahamia.
The day before, on December 18, the attempt to exclude Boyko from the Human Rights Committee
failed due to a lack of votes—only 217 were present at that time.
