The new Lithuanian government has arrived in Kyiv.

A delegation of ministers has arrived in Kiev, led by the Prime Minister of Lithuania, Gintautas Paluckas.

Новое правительство Литвы посетило Киев.
They will hold intergovernmental consultations with the authorities of Ukraine.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Ukrainian government, Denis Shmyhal.

According to him, the agenda for discussions is packed.

"We have a busy agenda for discussion: the defense capability and security of Europe, Ukraine's membership in the EU and NATO, the recovery program, further strengthening of sanctions against Russia, and the confiscation of frozen Russian assets, as well as our economic and trade cooperation," the message states.

On his Twitter (X) page, Paluckas reported that he honored the memory of Ukrainian heroes who gave their lives for the freedom of Europe.

"For me, it is an honor and a privilege to be in Kyiv during my first visit as Prime Minister of Lithuania. At the Kyiv Wall of Remembrance, together with my Cabinet of Ministers, I paid tribute to the fallen heroes of Ukraine, men and women who gave their lives for the freedom of their country, and thus – for the freedom of Europe," Paluckas stated.

Let us remind you that on December 13, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga reported on the first conversation held with the newly appointed Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys.
