President Volodymyr Zelensky made this announcement during a meeting with journalists in Brussels.
Commenting on information from Reuters sources about a potential visit, Zelensky assured that the trip will definitely happen.
"It will take place in early January. We expect Mr. Kellogg, and then we will discuss what he means or meant," the president stated, referring to Kellogg's previously expressed ideas in the media about ending the Russian-Ukrainian war.
General Kellogg's visit is expected to occur before Trump assumes the presidency, meaning before Kellogg is appointed to the position. It is worth noting that the inauguration of the new president is scheduled for January 20, 2025.
