In the notes that have been publicly released, the SSO reports that Private Gyeong Hong Jong, while still alive before his encounter with SSO operators, outlined tactics for downing UAVs and taking cover from Ukrainian artillery.

It remains unclear whether this is authentic North Korean tactics or if they were taught by the Russians, as noted by the Ukrainian SSO fighters. However, this tactic employs a live decoy.

The notebook entry is accompanied by authentic illustrations from the North Korean SSO soldier.

Direct transcription from SSO: "How to eliminate a drone."

Upon detecting a drone, a trio (3 people) should be formed, with the one attracting the drone maintaining a distance of 7 meters, while the shooters stay 10-12 meters away.

If the one attracting the drone remains stationary, the drone will also halt its movement. At that moment, the shooter will eliminate (the drone).

How to avoid artillery fire zones.

If caught in an artillery fire zone, after designating the next regrouping point, small groups should disperse and exit the fire zone.

Another method: since artillery does not strike the same point repeatedly, one can take cover at the site of a previous hit and then exit the fire zone.

Reminder: Operators of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to eliminate North Koreans in Kursk.
