A Romanian politician referred to Ukraine as a "fictional state" and expressed intentions to seize a portion of it.

The far-right pro-Russian Romanian politician Kelin Georgescu referred to Ukraine as a "fictional state" and asserted that it would be "inevitably" divided among neighboring countries.
Румынский политик охарактеризовал Украину как "вымышленное государство" и выразил намерение захватить ее территорию.

Direct quote from Georgescu: "The world is changing. Borders will change. Moreover – if the borders change, where will we be? We have Northern Bukovina – an interest. We have Budjak, we have Northern Maramureș – right? From the former... what was it called... Transcarpathia! There are also Hungarians... Lviv, which will remain with the Poles, and Little Russia...".

Details: He stated that the division of Ukraine is "inevitable".

"One hundred percent, that’s how it will be. Well, they have no other way! The road to something like this is unavoidable. Ukraine is a fictional state. It is the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic!", – said Georgescu.
