Details: Kellogg emphasized that Christmas should be a time of peace, yet Ukraine is once again under fire.
"Launching massive attacks with missiles and drones on the birthday of the Lord is wrong," he stressed, adding that "the world is closely watching the actions of both sides."
"The U.S. is more determined than ever to ensure peace in this region," he further stated.
Last week, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported that the Ukrainian side and Trump's team already have a preliminary agreement on the date of Kellogg's visit to Ukraine.
Previously, the American general stated that he is preparing visits to "hear the positions of both sides". At the same time, according to Reuters, Kellogg plans visits to Kyiv and European capitals, but not to Russia.
